LOUIS Price was unbeaten for Forest Green A in the Stroud and District Table Tennis League Division One as they beat the visiting Phoenix B 6-4, the visitors however were happy to leave with four points in the bag as they only had two players available on the night.

Dave Reeves, Anthony Kent and Emily Standing combined to whitewash the visiting Cirencester, dropping just five games on the night. Dave Lloyd was man of the match as he scored a max for Woodchester A on their visit to Frampton A beating the home side 7-3.

In Division Two, Phoenix C beat the visiting Forest Green B 6-4 but none of the home side could defeat John Crowther who finished as man of the match for the visitors scoring a maximum.

Randwick A consolidated their position at the top of the division by beating the visiting Whiteshill A 7-3, Stephen Charlwood was man of the match scoring a max for the home side.

Thornbury B kept up the pressure on the leaders when they visited and beat their hosts at Frampton C although no one player could dominate on either side.

Randwick B and Nailsworth A shared the points in a five all draw at Randwick, Dave Pugh was man of the match as he scored a maximum for the visitors.

In Division Three, the points were shared at five apiece when the two Randwick teams clashed. Akira Roe scored a maximum for the D team as they played hosts to their C team clubmates.

Phoenix D just edged the bottom of the table clash against the visiting Cam B team, captain John Armshaw led the way, scoring a maximum for the home side as they ran out 6-4 winners.

Thornbury C entertained the visiting Whiteshill C team but it was the visitors who left with a 6-4 victory, thanks in part to a Neil Wilkins hat trick. It was a close fought match between Phoenix F and the visiting Woodchester D but Sam McIvor made the difference as he scored a maximum for the home side as they finished 6-4 winners.

In Division Four, Forest Green C were too strong for the visiting Thornbury D side who although they battled bravely still fell to a 9-1 defeat. Richard Wright finished as man of the match and along with Alex Edwards scored a maximum.

Randwick E beat the visiting two players from Forest Green D by eight points to two, Daniel Lloyd-Birchall was unbeaten for the home side. Nailsworth C and the visiting Frampton D shared the points at five apiece, Brian Cullis was unbeaten for the visitors against the two player Nailsworth side.

Phoenix G entertained Nailsworth B but couldn’t prevent Alun Davies and Mark Davies scoring maximums for the visitors and inflicting a 6-4 defeat on the home side.
