IT was a busy weekend for Dursley Road Club cycling team.

Saturday saw them take part in the Sportzmad 10 Mile Time Trial on the R10/17 course between Abergavenny and Monmouth.

Windy conditions resulted in Robin Fox falling short of his PB by just over a minute. Robin said he was disappointed with his time but knows it's still early in the season.

On Sunday, it was the Royal Dean Forest CC 25 Mile Time Trail on the R25/7 course between Usk and Monmouth. Mike Davis battled the wind to finish strong in a time of 55:35 with an average speed of 27mph taking 6th place overall.

And there was the Bath CC Hardriders 24 Mile Time Trail on the U32R course down in Warminster.

Both Jim Beales and Russell Peace took on this challenging course as their first time trials of the season. Jim made it round in a respectable 1:07:26 finishing 18th whilst Russell had to abort the race due to a mechanical failure.

The next round of the Hardrider series is this weekend down near Malmesbury on the 31 mile U871 course. There should be a few familiar names representing Dursley Road Club.
