OLVESTON United first team progressed to their second cup final of the season with a 1-0 home win agaiinst Shaftesbury Crusade.

Olveston took the lead midway through the first half after a defensive mistake was capitalised on and with a neat through ball which George Williams duly despatched.

Shaftesbury battled hard and were always in the game but were restricted to few opportunities after Olveston's defence turned in their second clean sheet in two weeks. Shaftesbury also felt aggrieved to not win a penalty in the last minute of the match.
