GLOUCESTERSHIRE'S final pre season fixture ahead of the 2017 season has ended in a draw against Worcestershire.
Head coach Richard Dawson and his coaching staff will now turn their attention to the first Specsavers County Championship match of the season, a trip to Canterbury to face Kent.
The coaching staff will have plenty of positives to take into the first fixture, including an undefeated pre season campaign.
There were good performances from the fixture against Worcestershire including wickets for Craig Miles and Ollie Currill (who is on the Academy Plus Programme). Chris Dent and Kieran Noema-Barnett also hit half centuries on the second day.
The coaching staff will also be pleased that Cameron Bancroft, who recently flew back to the UK to join up with his Gloucestershire team mates, will have had time at the crease ahead of the opening match of the county championship season.
Gloucestershire will be in action at The Brightside Ground for the first time on Friday April 14 when Leicestershire arrive for the four-day championship fixture.
