BRISTOL Rugby have culled seven players after their relegation from the Aviva Premiership was confirmed on Sunday.
Bristol will be in the Championships next season, and it has been reported that the seven players, whose contracts were due to end this summer, have been given and accepted deals to leave the club early.
According to a report in the Bristol Post, Ian Evans, Ben Mosses, Nick Koster, Luke Arscott, Kyle Traynor and Adrian Jarvis are the players leaving along with Will Cliff and Marc Jones, who have already signed for Sale Sharks next season.
The report says the players have already left the club and will take no part in the final two Premiership games that Bristol will play which are against reigning champions Saracens a week on Saturday and against Newcastle on May 6.
The cull has come after Bristol lost 36-21 to Wasps on Sunday. They needed to win to have any chance of surviving in the Premiership but were battered under six tries from the league leaders.
