THORNBURY RFC are waiting with eagerness for the announcement at 12 noon of the British and Irish Lions squad to tour New Zealand in June.
They are getting ready to celebrate if either or both of their star England ex-players Billy and Mako Vunipola make the grade in a squad which will be captained by former Wales skipper Sam Warburton.
Number eight Billy Vunipola is a dead cert to get a place, but it is a close call whether brother Mako is there as well.
Both brothers and their family were at Thornbury RFC earlier this year to visit the club where they learnt their craft before going off to play for Aviva Premiership outfit Saracens.
