CLARE Watt produced a stellar performance while running in the West Midlands at the weekend.

She finished ninth female and 115th overall at Coventry parkrun in 23:52 mins, which was also a personal best on this course. John Watt completed the same run in 30:45 mins.

Liam Symonds-Barry limbered up for a few Easter eggs with a new personal best on the Gloucester Parkway course in 24:41 mins.

Tom Usherwood was in his familiar stomping ground of Stonehouse parkrun.

He was first in the VM45-49 age group and 12th overall in 20:21 mins.

Hugh McPherson completes the parkrun round up this week with a very good run at Chipping Sodury in 23:37 mins.

Thornbury old boy, Benjamin Toomer, now running under the Hercules Wimbledon AC colours has gone from strength to strength since reloacting to London.

He blazed around the Chipping Sodbury Parkrun in a rapid 15:25 mins, unsurprisingly claiming first place and a new course record.

After a few recent injuries, it was good to see Ros Rowland back racing again.

Her first race back was a relatively short one for her but no less taxing.

The Hanham Horror comprises six hilly miles, zig zagging up and down to the Avon path and through woodland trails around Bristol.

Ros completed the Horror in 53:21 mins in 114th place.
