CHARFIELD took the honours in their Gloucestershire County League Division Seven clash with Whitminster on Saturday.
Whitminster won the toss and put Charfield into bat.
And after some early wickets, Charfield settled down with George Eskins, with thirty, and Darren Rowe, with 37, helping their side to 162 for nine.
Whitminster’s Joe McGoldrick took four wickets for 27 runs.
In reply, Robbie Halliwell carried his bat for 33 which was the main contribution in a reply of 108 all out in 41.3 overs, giving Charfield a 54 runs victory.
