Oldlands 2nds and Cam 3rds
CAM won the toss and batted on a good pitch at Oldlands on Saturday.
Cam’s score of 200 for 6 owed a great deal to three significant scores for Rich. Collett 66, Matt Willetts 36 and Joe Gray 34, Andy Casse and Hardik Shah also achieved double figure scores. Oldlands bowlers bowled well in hot conditions.
The Oldlands innings didn’t start too well against good bowling from Cameron Moore and Johnny Hayward, both taking early wickets.
Oldlands didn’t really recover from these early setbacks and wickets fell regularly against good bowling and sometimes inspired catching.
George Thomas was Cam’s most successful bowler with four wickets for 11 runs from five overs.
Jones scored well at the end of the innings in Oldlands final total of 66.
