FRAMPTON United have gone to third in the Gloucestershire County League after a resounding 4-0 victory over Gala Wilton on Saturday.
Frampton opened the scoring on 15 minutes when Manola Marquez Espada volleyed home Kris Bully’s cross. Four minutes later, it was Ryan Vincent’s turn to score from a cross by Marquez Espada.
The home side were three up on 21 minutes when Ryan Vincent’s shot was turned into his own net by Mark Mason.
Gala’s Chris Earl went close with a shot on 28 minutes and Alex Pritchard hit the cross bar in the 37th minute.
The Frampton keeper pulled off a great save to deny Gala in the 68th minute before Marquez Espada finished the scoring off in the 87th minute when he slotted the ball home.
