LEAGUE One strugglers Gillingham have parted company with former Forest Green Rovers manager Ady Pennock by mutual consent.
The Gills sit third from bottom in the table after nine matches, having lost five of their games so far and won just one.
Pennock was appointed manager of the Kent club in January 2017 having left Forest Green Rovers in May 2016 just before the club entered the National League play-offs A club statement read: "The head coach, along with (first-team coach) Jamie Day, have both left their roles at MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
"The club would like to thank both Ady and Jamie for their services and we wish them well for the future."
Gillingham chairman Paul Scally is expected to release a statement later on Monday.
