There was a lots of cheer (and beer!) at the B team end of season competition and celebration.

The pairs stableford competition was won by Pete Douglas & Dave Edwards with 46 points whilst Rich Smith was toasted as the B Team Champion this year.

There was also a big thumbs up for the left handed players who were celebrating winning the annual left handers vs right handers match for the second year in a row.

A bit closer than last year’s result they won 3.5 – 2.5.

American Foursomes was the format for the Mixed Competition where both players tee off, then play their partners ball before choosing the best one to continue playing with.

Lin and Andy Cocking almost scored a hole in one during the round and won on countback from Sue Freeland and Dave Chappell both with 42 points followed by Elaine & Tony Wheeler 41.

Julie Cruickshank won the Lady Captain’s Salver, a stableford competition for past Lady Captains with 32 points ahead of Corrinne Durber 31 and Pat Waring 31. .
