FOREST GREEN fans can expect "four or five" signings in the next transfer window, with manager Mark Cooper claiming he has targets in mind.

Rovers’ threadbare squad have been tested of late and a 2-0 defeat at home to League Two leaders Luton Town today saw Cooper’s side drop to the foot of the table.

Back-to-back league defeats have highlighted the need for reinforcements and Cooper is keen to add new pieces to his jigsaw.

Weston-super-Mare midfielder Dayle Grubb is set to sign when the transfer window opens next month and the SNJ understands another potential recruit watched Rovers’ match this afternoon from the stands.

“We are working hard to bring players in and this has been going on now for a couple of months,” revealed Cooper.

“We have got players that hopefully we can get over the line, but they can’t play until after the New Year’s day game, but there will be four or five come in.”
