FOREST GREEN striker Luke James has joined Ady Pennock's Barrow on loan until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old, who joined the club from Peterborough United last summer on a two-year deal.

The striker has found game time difficult to come by, starting just nine league matches, with his only goal for the club coming in a 2-0 victory over Newport County in the Checkatrade Trophy back in August.

James joins the Bluebirds who sit 20th in the National League and will join former Rovers’ manager Pennock and goalkeeper Steve Arnold, who is another January acquisition by Barrow.
