Bristol Under-18s and Ladies round-up

BRISTOL Under-18s couldn’t stop neighbours Gloucester finishing unbeaten at the top of the Premiership U18 Academy League’s Southern Conference as the Cherry and Whites romped to a 72-12 victory at Hartpury College.
Meanwhile, Bristol Ladies suffered a 26-12 defeat in the Tyrrells Premier 15s League away to Wasps FC Ladies.
The first half was scoreless with Bristol’s second-half points coming through a penalty try and a try from flanker Poppy Leitch.
Three tries from Ellie Underwood plus one each for Kelly Smith and Mary-Ann Gittings plus two conversions saw Gloucester-Hartpury Women pull back to earn a 29-29 draw away to Saracens Women who remain at the top of the table.
