Stroud and District League Division Four
Dursley Town Res 4 Frampton United 3rds 1
JORDAN Warner may need the assistance of the dubious goals committee to claim a hat-trick, but he undoubtedly played the key role as Dursley Reserves enjoyed a morale-boosting win over Frampton.
The visitors took a 15th-minute lead, but Town responded positively and levelled matters when Warner’s attempted cross flew straight over the goalkeeper and into the corner of the net.
Dursley went in at the break a goal up as Paul Cook’s free-kick found Rob Cox at the far post and he brought the ball down and fired through the goalkeeper’s legs for a rare and very popular goal.
After the break, Warner’s shot found the net via a big deflection to make it three, and the same player was put through to slot home the fourth as Town triumphed in style.
