Forest Green have added Wrexham to their pre-season schedule
Mark Cooper’s League Two outfit will travel to the Racecourse Ground to play their final pre-season match on Saturday, July 28, 3pm.
National League side the Dragons finished 10th last season after boss Dean Keates left to join League One Walsall in March.
Former Wales defender Sam Ricketts was appointed new manager last month.
The Dragons number former Forest Green duo Marcus Kelly and James Jennings in their ranks. Meanwhile, ex-Forest Green favourite Sam Wedgbury quit the Racecourse Ground last month to sign for Martin Allen’s Chesterfield.
The fixture means that FGR’s pre-season schedule is now finalised, with nine games to be played over the course of three weeks.
Rovers return to pre-season training on Monday, July 2 before embarking on a five-day training camp at Woodbury Park in Exeter the following week.
