The day has finally arrived.

England will begin their World Cup campaign against Tunisia in Volgograd tonight.

The players all seem relaxed ahead of the big kick off, something that Gareth Southgate has instilled in Russia.

There all of a sudden is a lot of optimism around England. They will be expected to win tonight but need to look at the results at the World Cup so far to ensure they hit the ground running and not be complacent.

Germany lost, Brazil drew and France scraped past Australia.

Tunisia shouldn't be underestimated. They are Africa’s highest ranked team at the tournament and come in on a decent run of form.

They were on a nine match unbeaten run before they lost to Spain just over a week ago.

England are on a good run themselves, 10 without defeat.

Marcus Rashford appears to have got over his knock so Southgate has a full compliment of players to choose from.

Tunisia will be well drilled and determined to frustrate England but with Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Jesse Lingard and Dele Alli all expected to feature, England should have enough to break the African side down.

Prediction: England 1-0 Tunisia
