FOREST GREEN left-back Dan Wishart has rejoined Sutton United for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old joined Rovers from the U’s in October 2016 and has made 71 appearances for FGR, scoring once and making nine assists.
He came on as a 61st minute substitute in the club’s National League Promotion Final win over Tranmere in his debut season with the club.
He will officially become a Sutton player on 1 July, returning to the club where he won the National League South title in 2016.
Forest Green are now well covered in the left-back position following the signing of Joseph Mills, who joins Scott Laird in fighting for the role.
The transfer is subject to the National League & FA approval.
Everyone at Forest Green would like to wish Dan the best of luck for the future.
