A powerful batting display by Oldbury-on-Severn in the third round of the Pratt 20-20 Cup put paid to any of Kingswood's 2018 ambitions.
Batting first, Oldbury lost Liam Pemberton early to Mike Barnes and later Max Curtis to Ben Foxwell for 39. Otherwise, they were scarcely troubled with both Mike Nichols and Ollie Cooper retiring on unbeaten fifties in a total of 197-2.
Though Kingswood did not look like getting the required ten per over, Ben Foxwell`s unbeaten fifty, Sam Downes` 27
and Jacob Symanowski`s 15 gave some respectability with 133-5.
Nevertheless, it was a clear 67 run win for Oldbury.
