Forest Green Rovers defender Manny Monthe has joined Tranmere Rovers for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old departs The New Lawn having spent the second half of last season on loan at the newly promoted League Two club.

Monthe, who joined Rovers from Bath City in November 2016, was part of the team that won the National League Promotion Final last year and repeated that feat with Tranmere in May when he was part of the side that beat Boreham Wood 2-1.

The centre-back made 36 appearances for Forest Green, scoring once before being made available for transfer at the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

The transfer is subject to EFL and FA approval.

Rovers currently have Luke James and Fabien Robert on the transfer list.
