AROUND eight hundred children took part in the 18th South Gloucestershire Schools Festival of Youth Sport.
Forty-four primary schools were represented bring ninty teams to take part in a range of sports.
Athletics, archery, basketball, boccia, football, multi skills, tag rugby and tennis.
Each school represented an Olympic country in a colourful opening ceremony before enjoying the sport of their choice.
South Gloucestershire PE Association chairman Kim Hazeldine said: "It was a fantastic morning with a high standard of competition, most importantly everyone had fun”.
