YATE'S Ryan England has shown he has plenty of muscle by qualifying for next month's UK Strongest Man final.
He was in England’s Strongest Man which took place in Maidenhead last weekend.
The event offered the top five placed contestants a place in UK Strongest Man taking place July 27-29 in London.
Twelve regional qualifiers test their strength by lifting cars, pressing logs and carrying Hugh weights.
Ryan England and Basingstoke’s Colin Hawkins led the way early in the competition.
The muscular men also took on all challenges with what seemed at times superhuman strength.
Ryan qualified for next month’s UK Strongest Man final alongside Newcastle’s Kevin Coils, Yorkshire’s Phil Roberts, Basingstoke’s Colin Hawkins and Yorkshire’s Sean Logan and will go to UK Strongest Man at the end of July in London, which will be televised on Channel Five later in the year.
