DURSLEY Church of England Primary Academy hosted the annual district rounders competition last Wednesday.
Cam Everlands, Sharpness, Whitminster, Coaley, Lakefield and Dursley competed in this event which saw fantastic bowling, fielding, throwing, catching and batting on a hot afternoon.
After many exciting games, the final game was between Dursley CofE Academy and Cam Everlands, who had both won all their previous games.
In a tense final, Dursley eventually prevailed as champions after winning nine-and-a-half rounders to three.
All the children who took part were a credit to their schools.
