Pre-season friendly

Thornbury 2-2 Hallen

THORNBURY Town and Hallen AFC played out a stalemate in Tuesday’s pre-season friendly at the Mundy Playing Fields.

Town produced a spirited comeback on home soil after going 2-0 down before the restart.

Hallen led through Luke Mills and doubled their advantage through Danny Hunt.

Thornbury pulled a goal back before half-time, however, with Craig Lancastle getting on the scoresheet.

Town then levelled the match through Nathan Irwin to ensure both sides took a share of the spoils come full-time.

Next up for Thornbury is a trip to Oaklands Park to face Roman Glass on Saturday, July 21 at 3pm.

On July 24, Town welcome Cribbs FC at the Mundy Playing fields, before hosts Bristol Manor Farm in their final friendly before the new season.
