A FOUR wicket victory against Sussex was enough for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club to cement their place at the top of the T20 Vitality Blast South group yesterday.
The tone was set early on as Sussex were four down after just six overs.
Andrew Tye and David Payne took two wickets each to restrict Sussex to help restrict Sussex to 127-8.
Gloucestershire reached the target in the 19 over. Miles Hammond hit five fours and a six as he made 35 runs.
Jack Taylor and Ryan Higgins contributed 23 and 21 runs respectively to help Glos to their 129 total.
Gloucestershire have now lost just one of their six matches in the competition.
