Cricklade win by five wickets
CAM SECONDS came unstuck to Cricklade by five wickets at Everlands on Saturday, July 28.
Despite the defeat, James Seal (56), Matt Willett (37), Marcus Tudor (36), Hardik Shah (67) and Ben Dolbear (37) can be proud of their efforts in bat.
Ultimately, Cam’s respectable but losing total was down in part to Richard Collett (6), Chris Wilcox (0), William Hayward (0), Kit Dixon (0) and Cameron Moore (0) struggling at the crease.
Cricklade’s early order devastated their bowlers too.
Daniel Lloyd (29) opened with Greg Davies (63) while Martin Gillmore (56) and Sam Pinchin ‘s (46) stint was key to victory.
The reserve team next face St Philips North at Everlands on Saturday, August 4.

Hawkesbury win by one wicket
CAM THIRDS suffered defeat at the hands of Hawkesbury Upon on Saturday.
They got off to a great start thanks to solid performances in the early order from John Hancock (48), Joe Grey (40) and Andy Casse (45), but things spiralled with the middle-to-late order.
Steve Ballard (2), Simon Helme (0), Ben Lane (3), Lewis Baker (6) and Archie Wheeler (0) barely added to the run total, which always meant Hawkesbury were favourites to catch them.
Their opening and middle order underperformed, however, giving Cam hope of a victory at 83-6.
That was until Steve Johnson (51) and Jim Mason (25) turned the game on its head.
Cam next face Stinchcombe Stragglers at Dursley Rugby Football Club on Saturday, August 4.
