FOREST Green Rovers host Crawley Town at the New Lawn, still looking for their first home league win of the season.

Rovers have drawn all four of their league games at home so far and face another tough test against Crawley as they tried to break their home duck.

Here is all you need to know ahead of the game.

TEAM NEWS

Farrend Rawson will be serving the second game of his three-match ban after his red card against Port Vale a fortnight ago.

Mark Cooper has no other absentees.

Crawley will be without captain Jimmy Smith who has a serious knee injury.

Midfielder Romain Vincelot is facing a race to be fit in time as he is nursing an ankle problem.

FORM GUIDE

Rovers are still unbeaten this season but it’s two wins and six draws so far in League Two. They’ve shared the points in all their home games.

Things have gone well for Crawley since Harry Kewell’s departure. They’ve won their last two games (including an eye-catching win against leaders Lincoln City) and have won three of their last four.

PREVIOUS MEETING

Rovers won the last meeting 2-0 at the New Lawn back in February courtesy of goals from Reuben Reid and Christian Doidge.

H2H:

FGR: 5

draws: 4

Crawley: 7

MANAGERS VIEW

Mark Cooper: "I'm focusing as many good performances as we can. If we keep performing like we have it's only a matter time before we pick up a series of wins.

"The draws could have been losses, I'd rather talk about us being unbeaten in 11 games.

"I'm looking forward to meeting him (Crawley's boss)," "He got off to a good start, ran onto the pitch - I love that passion although I think he would have got done by the FA for that.

"One thing's for certain with an Italian coach is the organisation will be key. They'll bring power, size, aggression and organisation. They've got some experienced players and raw talent and players who can create something out of nothing."

Gabrille Cioffi: “I’m looking forward to it, it’s what we work all week for. They’re unbeaten, they have good quality and a good manager so it will be a tough game.

“I expect quality from them, rotation in the midfield. They play proactive football. They have to win because they’ve had positive results but victories change the mood so we are ready to challenge a tough opponent, as tough as Morecambe. In this league you have to show respect to everyone so we’re ready to challenge a really good opponent.”

SNJ VERDICT

One thing we can say is Rovers have been consistent this season. The performances have been excellent, and they’ve dominated the majority of their games this season but 1-1 has been the most common result.

It’s at home where the 1-1 draws have felt the most disappointing. Forest Green lead against Oldham Athletic, Swindon Town and Port Vale and drew all those games.

Crawley present another difficult test. They still have that new manager bounce as Harry Kewell’s replacement Gabriele Cioffi won his first game in charge against Morecambe last week. They also beat league leaders Lincoln City at Sincil Bank two weeks ago to end their unbeaten run.

Crawley will be confident they can win at the New Lawn so will not be afraid to attack which could help Rovers pick them off so it should be an entertaining game

Rovers have matched every team in this league and have, in truth, faced stronger teams than Crawley so it’s again another opportunity to get that first home league win.

If Cooper’s team take the lead, all it will take is to score the second goal and the pressure will be off and the floodgates should open.

Prediction:

Paul Joannou: 1-1

Ashley Loveridge: 3-3
