Hockey Friendly; Stroud 2nds 0 Thornbury 2nds 4

LED BY Annie Griffin, Thornbury comfortably defeated Stroud in a match played for some time in a heavy snowstorm.

Anne Chinnick (two), Lizzie McManaman and Rachel Gardner scored the Thornbury goals.

Emily and Mary Quinton defended solidly and Rhian Welch, Tracey Jones and Natasha Bonizzi along with Katherine Scott worked hard in the cold conditions for Thornbury.

On Saturday the firsts entertain Frys at Castle school (3.30pm).
