ONE of Thornbury Town's coaches has been recognised for her work within the girls section at the club.
Eleanor Bush, who is part of the coaching team in the youth section, was awarded the 'highly commended' prize in the Young Volunteer of the Year category as part of the Gloucestershire Football Association 2023 Grassroots Football Awards.
The event took place at Forest Green Rovers' New Lawn Stadium.
Bush has played a leading role in the girls set-up at Thornbury. Her work providing young female players opportunities at the club, and her time spent coaching, managing and leading in this area, has seen her deservedly recognised by the GFA.
