HALFWAY through the league programme, Stroud A' increased their lead in division one to four points over Wotton A' following an 8-2pts win away at Victory Park A'.

They were very close to taking maximum points in this match. Wotton A' could only win on one rink at Cam Mills A' but took the aggregate by six shots to record a 6-4pts victory.

Frampton move up into third slot with a close match at home against Nailsworth A'. It came down to the last few bowls of the match to see who would claim the aggregate and went in favour of Frampton by three shots. Cirencester A' beat Tetbury A' by 8-2pts to slip into fourth spot.

In Division two, Dursley A' clocked up their sixth win, this time away at Yate, by 7-3pts to maintain a firm grip on top spot.

The local derby between Falcon and Painswick went Falcon's way also by 7-3pts and they keep hold of second place by three points from Fairford A' who travelled to Cirencester B' and took seven points from the encounter. Fairford B' notched up their first win with an 8-2pts victory at home to Nailsworth B'.

There is little change in Division three where the top four teams all won their matches this week.

Leaders Wotton B' kept their momentum going with an 8-2pts victory at home to Tetbury B. They have a nine-point advantage over Cirencester C' who won by the same score-line at Malmesbury.

Third placed Cam Mills B' went a little better winning 9-1pts away at Dursley B' and Victory Park B' scrapped home by three shots away at Stroud B' and take eight points from the match.
