BRISTOL City defender Jamie McAllister has earned a recall to the Scotland squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifier against Norway.
The City left-back will join up with his country's national team for the match versus Norway at Hampden on Saturday, October 11th.
McAllister has been rewarded for his City form and now has the opportunity to bag a second international cap - four years after his last one in a 4-1 friendly win over Trinidad and Tobago.
Manager Gary Johnson said: "Everyone's absolutely delighted for Jamie.
"George Burley (Scotland manager) called me yesterday to let me know, and asked me to call Jamie to inform him. Jamie was over the moon, he's very proud to be representing his country again.
"He (Burley) also said that he's keeping tabs on Michael (McIndoe) and Lee (Johnson) and they were very close for this squad. However, at present he has an abundance of riches in midfield."
