FOREST Green goalscorer Alex Lawless is known as the deep-thinker in the squad with his passion for art and he was certainly left with plenty to think about as his side came so close to an upset.
"I am normally alright with stuff like this but in these circumstances my mind is a little boggled," said the former Fulham midfielder.
Lawless spanked in the second as Rovers took an early two-goal lead and Lawless felt Jim Harvey's side had done enough to make it into the fourth round.
He added: "A lot of people will say well done for pushing a Championship side so far, but being in front twice and losing it is just a killer blow."
Lawless is determined to switch his focus now as Rovers need to quickly climb out of the Blue Square Premier drop zone.
"This isn't the end of our season just because we have gone out of the FA Cup. The league is most important from now on."
