YATE Town fell back into the relegation zone as they were beaten by promotion-chasing Corby at Lodge Road.
Matt Beadle had a goal ruled out after 28 minutes for offside and the visitors took the lead just before half time when Leon Mettam scored from close range.
Yate leading goalscorer Dean Griffiths went off with a hamstring injury in the second half before Corby captain Steve Towers added their second late on.
