ALMONDSBURY TOWN moved back up to second in the Hellenic Premier last night but were unable to gain sufficient ground on league leaders Reading Town after a home draw with Witney.
Ex-Bristol City trainee Ross Stearn gave Richard Thompson’s side the lead on 72 minutes but Witney equalised four minutes later to earn a share of the spoils.
The draw leaves unbeaten Almondsbury seven points behind Reading, but with a game in hand.
