THORNBURY surprised the top of the table students with a committed display.

Becky Jones was in outstanding form for Thornbury and deservedly was player of the match.

Thornbury had a number of opportunities to score but their lack of firepower told and it was the students who managed to score the only goal of the match leaving Thornbury pointless after a promising display where a draw would have been a fairer result.
