LEADING goalscorer Mark Reynolds scored a 63rd minute winner as Yate Town ended their nine game run without a league victory.
Relieved manager Dave Mogg said: "I’m pleased with the victory but it was desperate at times.
"We did very well in the first half. In the second half, once we went 1-0 up we started to panic but it was pleasing to keep the clean sheet."
Goalkeeper Josh Dempsey proved his worth to the side with another impressive performance, denying Elliott Osbourne-Ricketts in the first half before James Faulkner headed wide.
Reynolds gave Yate the lead with a far post header before the visitors piled the pressure on.
Dempsey thwarted James Organ and Faulkner shot wide.
