Phil Walsh signs for Dagenham & Redbridge

FORMER Almondsbury Town striker Phil Walsh has signed for League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge on a two-and-a-half-year deal from Dorchester Town.

The 25-year-old, who hit four goals for the Blue Square South side this season, has joined the Daggers for an undisclosed ‘small’ fee.

Walsh, son of former Bristol City legend Alan, started his career at Hellenic Premier Division Almondsbury before moving on to Newport County, Bath City, Tiverton and then Dorchester.
