YATE TOWN’S patchy away form continued as they were beaten by North Leigh last night.
It was their third defeat on their travels in eight days and Dave Mogg’s side have now lost four games on the trot after taking 20 points from the previous 30 available.
They suffered another blow when goalkeeper Josh Dempsey was carried off with a neck injury midway through the first half to be replaced by Adam Growcott.
The substitute goalkeeper had a busy night and found himself picking the ball out of the net on 39 minutes when Andy McCabe was given plenty of time to head in from a free-kick.
Sam Duggan came closest to an equaliser for Yate, twice testing home goalkeeper Adam Lonsdale.
However, North Leigh wrapped up the points with 14 minutes left when Carl Dodds headed in.
