BERKELEY TOWN were hit for six by Henbury in a six-pointer at the wrong end of the table.

Henbury took the lead in the third minute when Mike Preece gave away a penalty and Luke Walker made no mistake from the spot.

Berkeley levelled the scores after ten minutes. A long ball up the middle found Paul Brookes, who hammered the ball past keeper O’Connell from the edge of the box.

In the 29th minute Henbury went 2-1 ahead when Adam Rosser’s cross from the left found Billy George, who slid the ball past Palmer.

In the 36th minute a mistake by Preece allowed George to latch and round the keeper before turning his left foot shot into the net.

In the 70th minute the home side went 4-1 up when another great cross from Adam Rosser was headed home by Luke Walker.

Although the visitors had very little impact in the second half they did grab a second goal in the 75th minute with a brilliant 20-yard drive from Richard Langford which whipped into the roof of the net.

Within a minute Henbury were 5-2 up, when George’s inswinging corner from the right was headed home by Ross Johnson.

In the 79th minute a break down the left by Walker and a superb cross allowed Joe Fyfield to hammer the ball into the Berkeley net.
