Chipping Sodbury Tang Soo Do win over 50 trophies at National Competition in Birmingham

Chipping Sodbury Tang Soo Do Martial Arts Club are celebrating after winning several trophies at the World Tang Soo Do Association National Competition in Birmingham.

Thirty students, consisting of adults and children, took part and scooped over 50 trophies between them, including 22 first place awards, against opposition from all over Great Britain.

Many of the students from Chipping Sodbury gained trophies in all three disciplines - forms, weapons and fighting.

Rob Lowman and William Townsley both achieved three first place trophies and were crowned Grand Champions on the day for scoring maximum points overall for adult coloured belt and child’s black belt divisions.
