Dursley suffered defeat at Cheltenham Civil Service. The visitors started well but an error just inside the 22 after three minutes gave Civil Service a penalty for not rolling away, which was comfortably kicked. The home team were awarded another penalty on ten minutes for going over the top, but it was missed. Midway through the half, good runs by winger Darren Sampson and full back Ryan Malpass, along with strong tackling by flanker Tom Broomfield, brought Dursley a straightforward penalty kicked by centre Grant Boucher.

Civil Service replied by breaking the line to add an unconverted try to their score.

With ten minutes left in the half a good clearance kick from Boucher and strong scrummaging from the Dursley front five of George Sheldon, Alex Budd, Ben Brinkworth, Andy Plumridge and Graham Dakin set scrum half Rich Pearce up to score with Boucher adding the conversion. Civil Service fell short with a penalty given for offside and winger Alex Pain was injured and had to leave the field from the resulting clearance kick. Civil Service piled on the pressure on the Dursley line and after one try was considered to be held up, prop Brinkworth was given a yellow card.

The home team were rewarded with a converted try, bringing the half time score to 15-10.

Dursley started the second half well with flanker Mike Kerr making a good tackle on the line to save a certain try. A strong run by Stevens and support by Sampson from a long kick into the opposition 22 by Boucher alleviated the pressure. Good breaks by centre Joe Atkins and fly half Rich Pearce put Dursley on the break.

Civil Service kicked another penalty from 25 metres out in front of the posts and two minutes later added another three points after the penalty kick hit the upright and went over.
