BERKELEY Town secured their second win in a row at Rockleaze Rangers.
After 19 minutes Berkeley’s Tom Andrews headed against the crossbar. Five minutes later Town went ahead when Sam Strickland diverted an Andrews shot past the home keeper. In the 33rd minute Andrews netted to give the visitors a 2-0 lead. Things got even worse for the home side on the hour as Andrews again got on the scoresheet, lobbing the ball over the home keeper from 35 yards.
There was a little light at the end of the tunnel when Ian Burnell was brought down in the box in the 72nd minute and Aaron Day stepped up to convert the penalty. Berkeley were reduced to ten men in the 80th minute when Jamie Mackie was dismissed.
Rockleaze were in with a chance in the 90th minute after Shane Budding headed a second.
Some goal-mouth scrambles followed in stoppage time, but Rockleaze could not find the back of the net again.
