Berkeley and District Riding Club enjoy success at National Championships

BERKELEY and District Riding Club are celebrating some fantastic results from the British Riding Club National Championships held at Lincoln Showground.

The Intermediate Show Jumping team of Genevieve Wilkes, Karen Gobey, Leanne Webber and Aimee Conlon did brilliantly to finish third, with Gobey completing three clear rounds and being placed a very respectable sixth individually out of over 80 riders.

In the Open Dressage, Aimee Conlon and Jo Jones were both third in their arenas.

Dressage and Show Jumping team manager Joy Smart said: “It’s an incredible amount of hard work to qualify for Lincoln, let alone be as successful as this.

“It’s a true team effort with huge support from family, friends, the club and our trainers.
