GEMMA Rallinson was crowned Colour Belt Grand Champion at the World Tang Soo Do National Championships in Cardiff.
Rallinson, 16, has trained at Chipping Sodbury Tang Soo Do for several years and has steadily improved, so it was no surprise when she picked up three gold medals, one silver and a Grand Champion trophy.
The club was well supported with 31 members taking part, securing 29 individual gold medals, 11 silver and 20 bronze medals.
Chipping Sodbury also dominated the team form events by gaining first place in all three categories and in one category took first, second and third on the podium.
The event drew competitors of all ages from as far as Scotland and all over the UK but at the end of the day Chipping Sodbury returned with more medals than any other club, putting the town firmly on the martial arts map.
