KINGSWOOD’S eight game unbeaten run was brought to an end by Kings Stanley.
The home side were the better team throughout and should have taken the lead early on when a one-on-one situation involving Liam Gale and goalkeeper Chris Fox ended with Fox making a really good save with his legs.
Stanley did take the lead in the 20th minute when Steve Robertson’s shot was blocked, but rebounded for Danny Stephens to fire home.
In the second half Fox was in action again as he pulled off another good save from an Andy Maryon header and then minutes later denied Robertson.
A second goal late on by Stephens settled the result in favour of Stanley.
