BEN MORGAN has lost his race to be fit for England's Six Nations clash against Ireland in Dublin.

The former Dursley player limped off with an ankle injury in the victory against Scotland at Twickenham, and is replaced by James Haskell with Tom Wood moving to No 8 in the only change to the starting lineup.

Leicester No 8 Thomas Waldrom has been named as a replacement ahead of former Thornbury Broncos player Billy Vunipola, who will have to wait for his first cap after being sent back to Wasps.

However, his brother Mako remains on the bench.

England head coach Stuart Lancaster said: β€œIt was good to have Billy Vunipola be able to train with us in the middle of the week but he needs some game time so he and David Strettle will be available for their clubs this weekend.”
