Gloucestershire County League: Bishops Cleeve Reserves 0 Berkeley Town 1

BERKELEY TOWN caused a big surprise at Bishops Cleeve Reserves to pick up their first win since October 2012.

This follows their point gained at home to Hanham Athletic last Saturday, sending them into double figures at last. Berkeley had the better of the early exchanges and Tom Palmer was unlucky to see his shot cleared off the goal-line with the keeper well beaten. The only goal of the game came in the 85th minute from a through ball by Luke Palmer that was finished off by Sam Strickland.

This Saturday, Berkeley entertain Yate Town at Station Road, looking to secure their first home win of the season.

Berkeley Town: E Prentice, P Brookes, B Gillison, R Reece, P Lavis, R Stump, R Phillips, T Palmer, C Andrews, S Strickland, J Mackie. Subs: L Palmer, T Frankham, L Mason.
