BADMINTON-BASED Arabian horse breeder Rachael Farley-Claridge and her 100 per cent crabbet stallion Silver Zenif achieved fifth place in the Crabbet Horse Championships.
Claridge travelled to the National Arabian Horse Society Show at the Three Counties Show Ground.
She said: “I was delighted to have scored so highly in the Crabbet Championships in their first season and to be awarded the highest scoring straight Crabbet was a bonus.”
Silver Zenif also featured in the Crabbet Horse Society convention held at Addington Manor where over a hundred 75 per cent Crabbet bloodline stock were shown in an all day demonstration of family groups, dressage, western and show jumping demonstrations.
The Crabbet bloodlines are deemed to be becoming a rare breed globally and the convention attracted stud owners from as far as the USA and Austrailia.
