Wotton-under-Edge rider Brian Wheeler to race in Vets World Championship round at British Grand Prix

A MOTOCROSS legend from Wotton-under-Edge is bidding to record his best-ever World Championship position this weekend.
Brian Wheeler has entered the one-off Vets World Championship round at the British Grand Prix in Matterley Basin, Winchester.
Wheeler went through all the schoolboy ranks and British Championships before starting his Grand Prix career in 1989. His best ever season was in 1993 when he finished tenth in the World.
Wheeler will be riding for locally-based team GL12 Racing and wherever he finishes will be his final position in the Championship.
